TBEM must continually seek best practice in health, safety and productivity to compete successfully.
All TBEM managers will provide the leadership needed to reach these goals.

TBEM Managers and Supervisors will:
• Provide, maintain and be committed to a healthy and safe workplace
• Provide financial support for this program
• Consult and participate with TBEM staff and stakeholders in the health and safety program
• Use risk identification, assessment and control principles to reach OH&S objectives
• Inform and train all TBEM employees and associated stakeholders in policies, procedures and legal obligations
• Actively seek current advice and knowledge to generate continuous improvement in the TBEM workplace
• Participate in TBEM Site Induction and Public Safety programs and implement all detailed safety procedures
